CLEVELAND – On Thursday, September 2, the International Association of Fire Fighters (IAFF) and its Cleveland chapter, Local 93, will host a rally in support of Kevin Kelley for Mayor of Cleveland at PJ McIntyre’s Irish Pub at Kamm’s Corners. IAFF General President Edward A. Kelly, of Boston, MA, will provide remarks, shining a national spotlight on Cleveland’s mayoral race.
“Kevin Kelley earned Local 93’s endorsement for mayor of Cleveland in June 2021 because of his tremendous commitment to the city of Cleveland his ongoing support for the men and women of Cleveland Fire,” said IAFF General President Kelly. “We are proud to stand with our fellow fire fighters in Cleveland and lend our support to Kevin Kelley for mayor.”
IAFF General President Kelly is an active fire fighter who first joined the Boston Fire Department in 1997. He was elected to lead IAFF in March of this year. IAFF represents more than 324,000 full-time professional fire fighters and paramedics across the United States and Canada, including members of Local 93 in Cleveland.
